Sorry to bother you....wanted the new body style GMC so I haven’t got rid of it yet.
Just sayin, another 5k miles will drop resale a bit. Not too much tho cuz it's still crazy low miles.
One thing I would try if I was in your shoes, is go to a Ford dealership and see what they will give you. They may give you more than the GMC place since they can easily sell it as a Certified Pre-Owned. Talk to the pre-owned manager and tell them you are going to either sell it outright or trade it in on another brand and see what they offer. Then if you can't sell it private you have that to fall back on.
Now if you really wanna get fancy with your wheeling & dealing, you can take it in to trade in on the GMC, and see what they offer. If it's not close to the Ford offer show them the written offer from the Ford place. Tell them you will take a few hundred less and they can sell it to them instead of you. This will allow you to not have to deal with multiple dealerships and will also benefit you if you're in a state that charges tax on the difference in value between the trade in and new vehicle. Back in 2013 this is what I did when I was trading in a 2011 Camaro 2SS 6 speed Convertible with 4800 miles for my F150. The Ford sales guy took my written offer to his supervisor & they called the Chevy dealership. They gave me $350 less than that offer (to cover their time and paperwork, they said) and everyone was happy. There wasn't a big market for that car when I was trying to sell it (December in Central Virginia) and the Chevy offer was better than any other offer I had gotten. Plus I had gotten a crazy good deal on the car when I bought it 2 years prior, so I was happy. The Chevy place came and picked up the Camaro before they were done detailing my F150. You may find that there's not a huge market for pre-owned truck in that price range around you, so working through a dealership may be the best option.
You could go to CarGurus, set the filters to 2019 F250 Platinum, Nationwide and under 10k miles. That will show you what some dealers are pricing them at.
I just sold my 2017 platinum with 3,700 miles with a 6” lift for $66,500. Around here locally a new 19 platinum goes for $71-74k new. I think your in the neighborhood of $66-68 for yours with it being stock.
The longer you wait the more it’s going to financially hurt.
Perspective private buyers and regular new car dealers have all the leverage here, not you so.....you’re going to take a negative hit in your wallet.
