Depending on size of the crack, I'd fill it with some type of fast setting clear glue/epoxy while I searched around for something a hell of a lot cheaper than $650. Or $518 for that matter.
Odd, my driver’s side taillight cracked too. Nothing has ever touched it other than the car wash whips. For $500, it looks like I’ll keep that crack, too.
when mine cracked I had a brief fit and then a large fit when I heard the replacement cost so I fixed it with a tube of super glue and its been fine for over a year now.
There are a bunch of us with cracked right ones. I know mine has been cracked for at least - most of the time I've had it. It may have come cracked - it's hard to notice, until you know it's there. Never has gotten any worse in 28k miles and 3 winters. So it's staying right there.
