Im having a loss of power on my 6.4 but it also acts like it has a lack of fuel like revving up and down this seems to happen about 2100 rpm about 45mph going uphill and when im going down the interstate but its really noticeable too when i floor it to try to jump out into traffic or something and it takes it a minute to take off and during both of these situations my boost gauge reads 40 pounds of boost could this be the vanes sticking or something else? I have replaced the fuel filters and there is no egr coolers in my truck anymore but the egr valve is still there
Do you have a scanner that can monitor the high pressure fuel pressure? The pressure sensors go bad and can cause the idle to fluctuate. I never noticed it while driving, but at idle it would surge.
Big, this can happen at any throttle. What the truck receives from the sensors will drive fuel injection pressure, in this instance I would first pull clean and e grease the sensors. Nearly cheap and freeish. Think of it as instead of your foot telling the system what to do...........it's Alexa.
