I assume you are talking about the heater hose itself not the hard line I am pointing at. If so there is no T from the previous picture to the firewall as was pictured in your diagram.
Yes the heater hose. I did not post an image of a Coolant system "T".
The "T" in the diagram above is a Vacuum "T".
But you might want to "T" (use) the white vacuum line as it is in a more handy place.

Got the heater valve installed and the vac line to T off. The heater valve had an arrow on it and I put it in the direction of the firewall. Vent temp is now close to 40*. Everything seems to be fine and working good. I also had to use the Motorcraft valve since the metal one was not available. Anyone see any issues? Sandy
I like the simplicity of yours, here is what mine looks like.
