Where do I beling

I was changing a coil and plug yesterday and found this guy just hang out. Not where it goes any and all help appreciated

Oh that's not too bad, put a new o ring on it, get below the truck, stick it back in, and you're good to go

ok but where does it go? I know that it doesn't go to the fuel pressure regulator and that it doesn't go to the reservoir.

That one (red) should go to the fuel pressure regulator.

With it off OP has a vacuum leak and wrong fuel pressure at any engine load under wot.
