I've got a chance to score a pair of 2017 Running Boards. I need to source mounting brackets as my OEM boards are long gone. Researching here I've learned Westin was manufacturer of the originals. Found these:
I used the newer superduty brackets that I got with the running boards from a '15 Platinum. I really like the slightly lower step.
I like the way yours look. That's the way I'd like mine to sit. Gonna go with the Super Duty brackets. The steps have brackets but they are from a 2017.
exactly how much lower are the f250 brackets than the F-150? I can only find f250 new take offs around me, but want for my f150
@Lorenplante
I don't have an actual measurement. I'd say they about 2-3" below stock excursion height. Biggest advantage IMO is that these steps create a gap between the running board and the body panel. This helps in keeping those rocker panels and door bottom edges cleaner. This picture might give you a better idea.
