HELP ! Turn Signals Troubles

I am rebuilding a 73 F250 4x4 and I having a huge issue with getting the turn signals to work. I replaced the entire turn signal wiring harness in the steering column. I made every effort to make sure I got the wires in the correct place on the plug via photos and labeling each wire with tape. I put new bulbs all the way around. I have brake lights, head and tail lights and hazard flashers. I also replaced the flasher also. No turn signals. Need the pros on here to help me.

I just dealt with this problem on my truck. There are two flashers. One is dedicated to the hazards and one is specifically for the directional lights. I had to search for my directional flasher. It was tucked up behind the dash on my truck. The next thing I would check is that the blue wire in the steering column has power. I believe the blue wire feeds power to the turn signals and the red/black feeds power when the brakes are applied. My truck is a manual, I'm assuming the wiring is identical for the automatic trucks.

OK, I've looked and the NSS on the column is missing. I guess that explains the wiring connector that is under the dash that looks like a four prong trailer hookup. So my guess is that is why neither my back up lights or turn signals are working. But heres another question, why can I start the truck if the is no switch ?

And also the four prong connector has three black wires and two red wires with blue strips on them. One of those wires is not conneted and loose. Im assuming it has come loose from somewhere. Would any of you know where the two red/blue wires go?

You did not say what trany you have, auto or stick?
I would guess stick so there has to be a jumper some where in the starting circit to make it work.
If you do have a stick trany any wires going to the top of the trany? This would be the backup light wires to the switch, look from the bottom side up.
