Went out with the wife and my youngest daughter and got a 2019 F-450 XLT very well equipped. Been wanting to do this for a few years, time was right and it was a good deal. Truck was ordered and it didn稚 come in fast enough for the guy so he bought something else. Still have our 7.3, it痴 part of the family, wife already said it痴 hers now, LOL. The dealer GM asked me if I wanted to sell, its awesome to have a 17 year old truck that everyone wants! This thing is a beast and should tow our 36ft/10K lb TT with our golf cart in bed with no problem. Weird having a new truck after 11 years. Hers a pic of both together.
i looked at a 19 f350 cc lb 4x4 6.7 looooaded sitting on a dealer lot, I about soiled my nickers! 85遅xx.
Thats more money than I paid for my first Perterbilt in 87! Just sayin!

I paid $36,000 cash for my 02 Lariat loaded. They are extremely proud of them trucks nowadays! I guess if you want to play you gotta pay! At this rate by 2035 they will cost $170,000. Probably be a flying diesel though by then, except in California the anti-diesel state.
That is a wonderful truck! I don't see how buying a new F450 is being a traitor. If I had the coin, I'd get one.
I agree with this wholeheartedly. Although, I would need a savings account set aside for repairs like the high pressure fuel system, turbos, coolant issues, EPA equipment issues (pick one), etc...
These trucks scare the heck out of me after they reach 100,000 miles. It seems that is the "estimated lifespan" of diesel trucks nowadays before they start having major and costly expenses.
I do like how Ford paid homage to the body lines of the OBS.
