Starting this waaaaayyyyy too early because of the very reason this thread is titled as it is - I'm headed out to my first event of the year. This weekend, Ford overtakes the Carlisle PA fairgrounds for the Ford Nationals show. Trucks, cars, new, old, lifted, lowered, you name it - it's there. Finnegan from Roadkill's allegedly to be there tomorrow signing autographs at from 9-11 and 2-4 I hear. So, there's stuff going on. I'll be there, I think a few others who have been on here or are still on here will be there...so, swing through and say hello if you're so inclined. No formal meet up going on, though.

June's here, that means it's time for vacations and parties and stuff...not to mention the strong uptick in vehicular events (dyno days, shows, meet-ups, and all of that). So, I'll try my best to put stuff out there that may be of interest and if you're inclined to get out to them, be sure to do so. Dirty Diesels in Reading, PA is hosting a dyno day tomorrow from 9-4 and as noted Ford Nationals is going on all weekend too.

I think for now that's all I've got - gotta finish rounding up everything I take with me to events and stuff. You know what to do, so, do it..

 

Woo Hoo..... first to check in for June even though it is technically still May for another 7 hours and 38 minutes. But who is counting?????

Evening folks, back home from Ford Nationals and settling in for the night. I had all these stylings of "yeah, gonna eat on point with my diet and get to the gym yet..." and all that.

I'm eating pizza and wings and drinking beer. So, you see how that went.

Great day out at Ford Nationals today...got to see a lot of friendly faces and meet some new ones. Had the pleasure of meeting Mike Finnegan from the "Roadkill" show on Motor Trend on Demand as well - he's a super cool dude and took a minute to talk with people (as much as he could anyhow - guy had a line out of the building waiting for him).

Pat - sucks that you got called in on a Sunday. Luckily my weekend call-ins have been minimal so far this year (we're working 6 days a week at the present).
