Block leak test
I bought a 2000 Ranger 4.0 ohv 4wd really cheap a few weeks ago. The guy that sold it to me said he thought it might have a blown head gasket. White smoke appears with in 30 seconds after start up. Always clears up in a minute or two. I suspected condensation but wasn't sure. I took it to a local garage and they did a block leak test. The fluid never turned yellow, but the dark blue fluid turned light blue. Is this normal or should the fluid remained dark blue. Thanks
