We are a rowdy bunch, so I expect they will have their work cut out for them.

Naw, these "Newer Light Duty Truck" forums are quite mild compared to many other websites. There's hardly ever any spam or flame wars. Most here share the same passions and are very willing to help others keep their rides running smooth.

The flame wars were heavy as anything during Ford's debut of the ecoboost. I was a busy boy back in the day.

Wait. You’ll earn your dues. The 7.3L is going to be here shortly, and the 6.7L boys will be having a field day.

The superduty forum has plenty of qualified moderators so I'll watch from the sidelines.

Thanks guys. As stated above. This is a pretty calm place compared to the other F150 site. One thing we could use that they have are more active members. So tell all of your friends and family who have an F150 or are thinking about getting one to stop in, pull up a chair, kick off their boots and join the conversation. We don’t beat up new guys too bad here.

I remember when I first joined, there was one particular guy who had to pick on almost every post I made. With comments like “me thinks” and references to my post count. I just confronted him with facts and links and he went away.

Lets try to make new guys welcome when they show up. Sometimes they ask questions that we find bothersome. Some never come back. But some can prove to be a well of knowledge that we can all draw from.

Every once in awhile we have the occasional keyboard commando with an activist mentality show up. Those are the guys we need to chase away.

Contrats! I belong to a few forums (boating/sports) and one can get chippy once in a while, the other down right vile, I think the mods gave up on that one LOL!! This one is quite tame and a great resource for us new 150 owners.

Chase away? I rather calm them down and get them to be productive.

You’re right. But I was thinking of some specific guys from the past when I typed that. Every once in awhile someone will show up here and use their negative posts as a way of drawing Google hits.
