Well I finally found what I wanted for a price I was willing to pay. I got the 2.7L with the 3.55 locking rear end. I’m pretty excited for the vinyl floors too. So far I’m impressed with the little ecoboost. It has plenty of power and so far I’m averaging 18.5.

Thanks. I love the look of the look of the STX. You definitely get a lot of vehicle for the money. Im just debating if I want to put any kind of paint protection on it or just touch it up as needed?

I had had a nano ceramic coating put on my truck. It was pricey, but I’m very happy with it. I will never have to wax it, and it makes it easier to wash too.

 

Waxing is one of my favorite things to do so I’ll probably stick to wax on that. I was thinking more towards a clear bra or something to prevent rock chips on the front end.

 

I am going with a clear bra on the front of the hood on my next truck.

 

I will join in that the STX grill is the best of the bunch. I like it a lot. Congrats on your new ride!

Picked up 2019 F-150 brochure today while having my truck serviced
The STX style grille is now available on the XLT and Lariat Special Edition Packages also.

 

Congrats on the new truck! Had I not got such a ridiculous deal on the leftover 2018 xlt, that is exactly what I would have ended up with. I originally wanted Magnetic but love how forgiving ingot silver is.

Well, not “now”, actually. It’s been available with those packages since they came out with the newest 2018 refresh. I love the look of that grill. I’d have a Lariat Special today, but I’m just not sure if I’d get sick of the red seat trim over time.

 

Don't know anything about the newest 2018 refresh, when looking at the online builder program the grille only showed up on the STX
Looked in a Lariat and didn't care for the red seat trim ether.
Besides looks and low price we choose the STX because it DIDN'T have leather interior, the wife and I both prefer cloth seats over leather.

 

Take it Katzkins and have black leather with red stitching put in. Then sell the almost new SE covers on the market place here or on eBay.
