I have a sun visor with running lights on its bolted to my roof. It has been added on by the previous owner who didnt know how to hook it up. I sort of knowhow to hook it up but I need to ground it I have to either hook it up to the light switch or a park light or head light what color wire is it for the park light off the switch in a 92 explorer or tell me how you guys did it oh yeah the visor is fiberglass so I thik it has to be grounded to the frame
What you want to do is one of two things.
No matter what, you can ground your lights to anywhere on the body.(right at the visor if you want).
Anyway, option 1:
Chase power wire down to the headlight switch. Get yourself a 12v test light and check until you find the wire that lights up when you pull on the parklamps. Then tap into it for your clearance lights.
option 2:
After you get power wire down the windsheild post , just run it out to the engine compartment and tap in to the power wire for the driver side front side marker light.
Have fun!
