a few questions
I have a 97 ford explorer xlt....a few things I am having trouble with. The heater system seems to be broken as in it will not switch positions for the vents...it actually seems to be blowing out of all of them with most coming out the defrost, no matter the selection and either AC or heat. I am also wondering how to take the dash gage "glass" off the das so I can clean it and replace bulbs. The drivers side door handle has broken a clip that keeps tension on the outside handle to keep it from flopping up and down...is there a clip I can get for this....is there a good manual either printed or cd that shows me how to take apart and identify all these kind of parts? On another note I had to replace my transfer case because it had something go out that would not let the transmission shift down properly.

I got a service manual on CD through E-Bay for my 96.
The heater thing may be a leak in the vacuum reservoir or the vacuum line that goes to it. Usually if that happens the air will blow out of the defrost ducts.
