This is the third attempt at mounting this engine, 1st time the shifter shaft for my lokar shifter wouldn't clear the frame. The second time headers wouldn't clear frame. The third time I got aggrevated got in a hurry and mounted it out of level. So here are some pics of the new progress.
I had to move it forward about an inch. I think I'm still ok with the drive shaft yoke.
it really doesn't have to on the c/l. you can offset the engine/trans to get around some obstructions... just make sure your engine/trans c/l is parallel with the c/l of the rear end.

Thanks for the reminder, all I had to do along those lines was two turns in, on the lower links, of the four link setup, to bring the pinion up 1-1/2 degrees, making everything perfectly parallel. I'm happy with everything so far.
