Out With The Old And In With The New

1954 Ford 223

1998 Ford Explorer 5.0L

Removed the old 223 and replaced with the 5.0L with a T-5 transmission and a hydraulic clutch release bearing.
The new radiator is in place and the front panels, grill and headlights are reinstalled.
Painting the underside of the hood now so it won't be long before we go to the muffler shop for a complete exhaust system.
This EFI engine actually cranked and started with the first press of the starter button. No codes......YET!

Way to go, Bob. Hope to see that truck again some day and perhaps even ride in it again.
