The bearing has been installed in the pulley. Retaining compound was not used on Dan's advice. Pulley was baked at 200ºF and the bearing was frozen for an hour.

👍
I have learned this by the hard way.
We were banging excavator track pins, with a sledgehammer..💪
There was metal expanding involved..💩
At somepoint, someone had an idea,HEY! let's put those pins to the freezer!
After that incident,my life has been easier, many times.
For example, changing ball joints with no specific tool.
Joints almost drops in there, just like in Noob's video.

Tristan ( @Hyakkimaru ), see the text in bold for some sage advice from The Finlander regarding your upcoming ball joint install.
This is impressive! I had thought about doing this. Years ago I mad an air compressor out of a Plymouth Scamp compressor - they had their own oil bath. Pressure switch energized 1/2HP motor. Clutch was energized by a 12VDC power supply after a few second delay to allow the motor to speed up past the point where the centrifugal switch cut out the start winding. A 50lb R22 cylinder was my air tank. I used it for cleaning my chain saw or blowing out carburetors (am I allowed to use that word here?).
I have a spare AC compressor that needs a front seal, and another one that needs a clutch. Between them I could make one of these too.
Air horns would really come in handy on my hot shot truck!
Thanks @runningman777 . Can you imagine all this started because I had a compressor left over from an AC system overhaul that I couldn't bear to throw out?
