Can you be more specific? There are a lot of interchangeable parts depending on what you are looking for. Body parts, engine, etc?
For a quick start, most body parts interchange between years with little or no modification (except front grilles). Engines were either straight six or FE engine from 73-76. The straight six continued 77-79, but the V8s were 335 series (351M or 400). Interior parts and glass swap pretty much between the whole range.
78-79 Bronco tailgates have window glass in them so don't get one of them for your pick up truck.
Tailgate latch on box attaching screws are phillips #4 if yours are missing and need to find them in a junkyard.
78-79 Hoods also have relief holes cut into them underneath so as to bend better in a crash.
Aftermarket at that time, and maybe still today, there was a tailgate assist bar that could be installed to make closing the tailgate easier to lift up.
If you get a tailgate round cup mount off a newer ford truck up to 96 it will not be a round cup but a sort of slot, which if you cut bottom of tailgate in the same manner of newer tailgates then you can remove tailgate without unbolting the mounts when you want to haul a longer camper or stuff that an open tailgate would interfere with, there are posts on here about it if you search.
