I'm curious to know what brand is generally the most durable or best made for the aftermarket reolacement power window motors for our trucks.
In my old truck I had Siemens from A'Zone that lasted several years and then the driver had to be replaced again.
I have ACI from Advance in my truck now and they only lasted less than 3 years and both sides have failed. The driver side 6 months ago and the passenger side just the other day. They also sound weaker and seem slower than the units I had in the other truck.
So, What is everyone's experience with these power window motors? Lifetime warranty or not I'd rather just have the best ones as long as they have a reasonable price.
I haven't tried them I have manual windows. I was looking through that section a couple of days ago and saw them Sorry I've called them before like their customer svc
I'm wondering about the chinesium motors from amazon. Some of the reviews are saying they go bad in <1 year but from the sounds of it so do the ones from the part store. I guess you might have some luck getting a warranty from the parts store though. These Dorman assemblies are $116 each! https://www.oreillyauto.com/detail/b...+windows&pos=2
but they claim to have a lifetime warranty
But these amazon chinesium ones are only $68 for the pair!
