Well had this code pop up last week. Called dealer and after a few minutes of searching and asking for purchase date o this fix was for my build date.
The P163F code btw just cleared also during my errand runs that day.
Kept appointment and had PCM reprogrammed. Nothing else affected....whew!!! no change in MPGs (shucks!) and performance wise still great.
So in case anyone encounters this code you got a fix for it.
I used BOSCH scanner that said it did not recognize vehicle (Hmm may have to check for Bosch updates) but did accept generic truck scan and up popped the code. hope you folks can read it it lol....
