I have recently been having problem after problem with my summer ride. Bought it with 400,000 on the truck. Tranny was supposedly rebuilt at 235,000. Was heading to town one day and lost all gears in it. Had found a ride home and had it towed home. Guy I bought it from had another tranny for the truck he knew nothing about except was working when pulled and low miles. So after procrastinating awhile I finally put it in. Was excited when I fired it up and finally had movement. Ran it 15 miles roughly when it suddenly wouldn't go over 35 and wasn't shifting. Finally it would shift get to 45 and start revving up and down a little bit and rapidly. Limped it home. Went outback. Checked fluid. Was a little low. Added a little and went to go down road to do a test run and that's wen I lost all power in forward gears. Backed it to house. Sounds like a dry pump. (Side note. After I put it in I put new filter in and seemed extra tight as in pan didn't seat flush so I used the bolts to suck it on. Thought maybe it was restricting fluid resulting in dry pump) dropped pan again old filter fits perfectly. Refilled. Got nothing. Pump still sounds dry. But here's the kicker. I got perfect pressure readings. Undid my ts6 chip thinking maybe something was wrong with it since I know it adjusts shift points. Still nothing. Dropped shafts. Shaft out of transfer case spins when it's in drive but I can stop it with my hand and hold it... I'm lost on what I can check now. Hoping someone on here knows what's up as I don't wanna buy another tranny or rebuild it if someone on here has had a similar problem with a cheap or easy fix.. Any ideas anyone. This is my summer rig and my only ride rn

Reason: Misinformation
Does the engine rev normally when all gears are lost, like in neutral?
Almost sounds like the one time you were in 4 low with the 35 MPH symptom.
Dash lights work on 4x4 high - low indicating where the transfer case is selected?
