Need help on brakes

Ok.... I’ll try to make this short.
2008 f350 6.4

Replaced hydro post, master cylinder, rotors, pads, and calipers. Now I have a soft pedal.

i plugged the master cylinder and the pedal is rock hard.

i have ran about 24 oz through each bleeder with a pressure bleeder.

Cycled the abs 4 times then bleed again.

pedal is still soft?

Any sugeestions?

Did you bench bleed the master cylinder before installing? They usually come with the required ‘kit’ when you buy one.

I know you have gone through a decent amount of brake fluid since the install but you can’t really bypass bench bleeding and expect a solid pedal.

Also, check each caliper to make sure bleeder is above brake line connection (will be below if left side is installed on right or vice versa.)

Yes I bench bleed- also plugged the master cylinder to check for solid pedal and it was.

all bleeders are above the inlet.

I tried to pull the abs fuse today but that didn’t help either.

Try adjusting the rod that goes to the master cylinder. There have been past posts about this and how it resolves a soft pedal.

I don’t recall an adjustment on the hydro booster-

Do the auto bleed some more. It took about 10 times on a GMC I had to get all the air out of the ABS module. You may also want to take the truck to a gravel/sandy road and get the ABS to kick in a few times, then run the auto bleed some more.

I replaced the front calipers on mine auto blead it several times to no avail. I finally went out with my trailer connected and activated the abs on the street several times to dislodge the air from the ABS. All is good now but I don't know why they are so hard to blee9.
