I have been dreading asking this question cuz there are so MANY posts about the rear window but I have yet to find anyone with the same problem.( And I am stuck in Korea and have nothing better to do.)

My window motor is fine, the glass goes up and down fine but with the tailgate switch only. When ever I try it with the front switch, it blows a fuse. I thought maybe the switch was bad so I replaced it but the same thing happens with the new switch. Again sorry for the back window post, but like I said I haven't seen this problem yet.

I had the same problem. Check for corrosion at the connector for the motor inside the tail light housing.

the switch is good we have power th the switch and power to the back window for the up position but not the down all of the wires have checked good for continuity and the motor is new and works. is there a fuseable link some where that I am missing?
