Ford Dealer Codes
Does anyone know how to find out what a dealer number - code, translates to ? I can't find anyplace that decodes it.
I know the code is 74C416 and I know the dealer is in Oregon but it would be fun to know what dealer it was that sold my pickup.

No I don't...and the only way the OP can find the name of the OR dealer is with a Marti Report.
Dealer parts dept's had a code for ordering parts, sales dept's had a different code for ordering new vehicles.
Here on the west coast, the parts code was 3, 4 or 5 numbers, so I assume that 74C416 is the sales code.
All I can tell y'all is: 74 is the code for the Seattle WA Ford District Sales Office, where the original selling dealer ordered the truck from.

The code I have is from the Marti report as the dealer code. but it doesn't say who the dealer was.

There are two types of Marti Reports, one (the Deluxe version) is more expensive than the other.
AFAIK, the Deluxe has the dealer name, why people have to pay extra for this info, I dunno.
When Ford had these records, the build sheet was free. Marti has to make money, but...

Maybe that's it. I thought maybe he could tell me and it sounds like he could if I order an upgraded report.
I don't think it's that important to me , it would just be fun to know .

What's the number? Maybe one of our posted dealer names/codes over on ClassicBroncos (there's a thread called "show us your Marti Report" or something like that) will have it.
When you have some time to kill, you could pop over and peruse the list. It's not on one list naturally (that would be too easy!) but there are a lot of posted reports to cull from.

It's 74C416. the 74 is the Seattle district which covered most of the NW . not sure what the C is but I bet the 416 is the actual dealer number.
