I have a custom wooden flatbed that I was planning to use for a project but I sold the truck. Can’t decide if I’m going to get another truck or just sell the bed




. I’m not exactly sure of the year model that it came off of but it was definitely a 1950s Ford. The guy had this custom bed built but later decided to put a standard bed on the truck. It’s 74.5” wide and 79” long. What do you think it’s worth???

 

Hard to say...but the buyer would have to see the value in it before opening his wallet. I had a friend that had a flat bed truck and for him it was perfect for what he hauled. Good luck...

 

it's for a short wheelbase truck, a truck with a 6' bed. The bed looks well made and is very nice looking, but I think there is a limited market.

 

You'll do well to find one interested buyer with any money. The negotiations will depend on their budget.
