any here got a flat bed
Guy I used to work for is a dealer for one of the best beds on the market, the Bradford built bed:

But I don't imagine you're looking to drop 3500 bucks on bed...
I'd call around to the wrecking yards in your area, see if they have any trucks that came in with a blown engine or wrecked in the front, whatever, that may have a flatbed on the back. Or you can build your own...

Joe, I could probably build you one in your price range, only wild card would be the deck, and whether you wanted diamond plate or wood.
Give me an approximate size you want, I'll crunch some numbers.
The good thing about making one to fit is you can customize it on the fly, I/e space for a tool boxes, headache rack, tie down hooks, etc.
The last one I made, we hingedthe side board rack holders as well as the end gate, this way you can just leave your side boards on, flip'em down to load...or flip'em down to haul something wider, and not worry about what to do with boards/etc.
The one I built for my Brother-inlaw, we located a 5th wheel receiver just in front of the axle, then put in a flip plate, this way he had a flatbed w/o a hole in it, and just flipped the plate up to pull his trailer.
But, the best thing we built (I was just the helper at the time) was the one for my Dad on a '58 Chevy 1-ton, at the time he was big on buying trees and cutting them down for firewood, so we built a dump bed for it so we could just cut and load the big rounnds, take it home and dump it, then split'em as needed.
