Well Magnaflows make more power.

ASP Underdrive pullies are good for 8-12rwhp

Get an adj fuel regulator

MSD seems to give better throttle response down low, not too much power gains.

Stock 351W intake manifold sucks, get you an Edelbrock. .

I hear 40 Series Flows with no cats all time ... Mustangs are here everywhere.

Underdrive pullies replace the crank, waterpump, and alternator pulleys for more power. They are easy to install with air tools in about 1 hour. You'll get LOTS of mixed reviews about them but I have run mine for close to two years with no problems. ASP is the way to go.

Get you a TransGo shift kit in your E4OD and a mild 2400rpm stall converter will get you out of the hole a lot faster.

Ram Air is pretty gimmicky...I don't see it adding any substancial power with the cost of it.

i have a 93 f150 and plan to do the same combos as you. sounds like your happy with it. im curious to know how much hp do you think you have gotten and if you get better mpg...thanks

you might want steeper gears out back for quicker acceleration...

hey sadcad ,i am happy with the performance of the truck, so happy i provoke ****'s to race at stop lights.
mpg is isn't very good i guess it's cuase the chip sets everything,(gas, ignition, etc)higher(more gas more power).but overall i find that i don't have to beat the truck down to pass nobody, she shifts alot firmer and takes off real nice.
people have told me before that in order to get more ponies u'll have to use more gas.
i know if you go ahead with the similar mods u'll love what your truck will feel like ,trust me!

I have ram air (check gallery) doesn't add much for power, but it makes the truck sound 10 times better.

mustanggt221 ,do you have any idea how my 1991 351w v8 5.8L auto trans e40d can have a functional ram system. i hear diferent stuff about mass air sensors and stuff like that, that wont allow a working ram system . any idea on what i got to do?, getting a hood should'nt be a problem i need to know what i have to change in order to fool the computer to make use of the rammed air instead of controlling it..better sound works for me .
i like your truck bro, clean like my 91 and has the same exhaust setup only i have 5"tips.

your 91 doesnt have a mass air sensor, so dont worry about that. besides which, even if you did, the chip would be able to worry about it.

if youre really into it, throw on a good set of heads. might be able to find some GT40s decently "cheap." port em yourself for some more flow on the cheap. combine it with a decent intake, and you should have a good strong motor.

sounds like a cam, and a reburn on the superchip would give you the most bang for the buck. Don't get to radical, and you will LOVE it. Then intake and heads. Skip the ram air. Won't do CRAP for power.
