Engine Dies

'88 F-150 w/302
If I pull into a parking space and just sit there and idle the truck is fine. if I turn the wheel to the left or right the oil pressure drops, check engine light comes on, and the motor dies. It starts right back up and is fine, but does all the same stuff if I turn the wheel either way. It idles at between 700 & 800.

u could pull the whole motor and change your muffler bearing or headlight fluid, or maybe it needs brakes,....lol. just feel like being funny tonight,
u can try turning that screw in on top of the throttle body a turn or two. oil pressure dropping is because of the engine dieing under load. could try cleaning up the iac valve?
