Front Windshield Washer

I replaced the washer pump recently due to the original no longer spraying for either front or rear windshields. Replaced the Multifunction Switch (turnsignal/wipers/etc) as well for just being worn out and loose/floppy. For about 2-3 weeks, both the front and rear washers worked flawlessly, I no longer had to mash the button while wiggling to get the wipers to even register.

However, now, when I press the button for the front washer, the front wipers move as expected, but the washer pump pushes washer fluid out of the rear wiper nozzles. If I trigger the rear washer, both the rear wiper and the rear nozzles spray as expected.

As I understand it, the washer pump reverses direction depending on if its trying to make the front nozzles spray or the rear nozzles spray.

Any ideas where to start looking for why the washer pump is only pumping out the rear nozzles?

You have a short between the "command voltages", or the pump is already crapped out and stuck in the reverse/rear side. The short between the voltages would most likely be internal to the multi-function switch. You still have the old one?
