Core support mount redux

1965 4x4

Searching the board I found some good discussion about this in the "nice 1966 4x4" thread but that was a pretty mixed thread and I thought not a clear place to ask this.

My core support bolts came right off, like snapped off just below the lower spring retainer, and I thought it would be pretty straightforward to find some but…

I looked through the catalogs of several places I have bookmarked, the only one I found so far is the LMC stuff and it doesn't look right

In my "shop manual" which is pretty lame actually they have this "typical" installation, I know the 2WD pickups actually had a short bolt with no spring, note this no reference to 4x4 or not and even show the same mount for up to 600s

In the aforementioned thread Chad posted this pic, notice only two options and INCLUDES 66…

This is what LMC has, notice that the "larger" kit is listed as for 65 4x4s on the left and the same kit is on the right for apparently ALL 66 -72?!?, Mine has one square rubber pad molded to a square steel washer like the illustrations, I fail to see how the big round rubber cushions fit in any way.

So where can I find the right ones? I think my springs are OK but I'd entertain buying some if the prices is reasonable. thanks

Pic: 1964/72 F250 4WD & F350, 1964/65 F100 4WD is similar. .. 1966/72 F100 4WD is not the same.

Oops need springs too

Scratch that last line about using the old springs, they were still in the pockets of the support and when I pulled them out I can see that I'm hoping Chad still has that pair he mentioned. So this may have been a repair/replacement situation but they were rusted as bad or worse than anything else on the truck which would indicate they've been on there a long time. There were no rubber discs, fragments or otherwise that I could determine anywhere in the assembly, only the square lower pad and the rest appears to be metal. Bill that image is confusing, it seems that all other references mention or show risers and springs on 4x4s… that other image is from the same book no? am I missing something? Regardless I need to find the right bolts and hopefully springs to replace what I have, can you divine the parts numbers from the section 160 illustration so I can shop around? Thanks in advance!
