Issue with glow plugs

Issue with glow plugs
My truck has the glow plug control module and tripped the CEL for #2 & 5 glow plugs. I put new motorcraft plugs in and cleared the code, drove it for a day then the CEL came back on and now it's showing #2 as faulty. Any ideas where to start troubleshooting

Before spending any more money I would definitely be checking the wiring for continuity.
With it being #2 still showing issues after new plugs I would suspect a connection/wiring issue. How old are the UVCH and valve cover gaskets?

I had the exact same issue with 2 glow plugs as well. I changed all the plugs and one was still throwing a code. About a year later I changed the valve cover gaskets and that fixed the issue.
