Headlight Switch - Foglights

Sorry for the double post i stuck it in the wrong forum at first...

Ok i got the oem fog light kit from Ford but i really want to switch them with the intergrated headlight switch.

I got a 2001 headlight switch that also switches the fog lights. I know i can mod it to get it to pull out and turn on the fogs with only the parking lights one. Problem is when i took the original switch out of my truck to check things out, i found that the wire connectors are different on the 99 vs. the 01 switch.

I wondering if anybody has dealt with this before. Is there a switch available that fits the 99 connectors but has the fuctional fog light switch in it???

I'd really like to switch the fogs with the stock switch......if it's possible

your best bet is to locate a SD in a salvage yard and pull the plug and wires out and splice it in your truck wires.

If that's the only way to do it I think i'll just put in a switch fed off the parking lights ckt...

What? How do you modifiy the light switch to have the fogs on with only the parking lites lit? I was thinking I would have to add a switch.

I'm no expert here...
but FYI, both the '02 anfd the '03 Ex have that functionality...

Maybe you could get the Ex lite seitch to allow the parking lites and the fogs to coexist...
