Pop up blockers
What do you all have and what do you think about it? I had one for 30 days and now it wants me to pay $22 for it. Worked great. I mean I would pay 5, 10, even 15 but 22 is too much when they can be found for free. Tell me what you have found to work the best.

the google toolbar is free, and it has blocked 1085 for me so far. You can hold Ctrl and allow a pop up when you click a link, or click the button on the toolbar to allow all pop ups from a certian IP address. The actual toolbar is very useful too. It has an auto-fill feature and a few other nifty features and it is free!
Some dont like it because it sends info about your browsing habits to google, but I dont really mind google having any stats on me, i mean, its google.

I have the google pop up stopper too, but you can set it so that it doesn't send any info about your browsing habits. It works great. I also have adaware 6.0 and Spy ware blaster . Blaster wont allow most spy ware cookies to even load on your machine and adaware finds the ones that do. I got them both free. Adaware from www.download.com and Spyware Blaster at www.wilderssecurity.net/spywareblaster.htm . Its free too. I advise getting spy ware checkers because some spy ware and some sites will load some nasty stuff on your puter. I had to do a complete reformat because of a site called Xupiter. Spywareblaster won't even allow it to load on your machine.

I just paid $16 for this one, is had ad block, spy ware blocking, even keeps them from downloading spyware to your comp. I had one where i downloaded on accendent. This programs found it, and shut it off. I can't erase it cause i can't find it, but it's no longer and good to them.

I ended up finding a program called intellistopper and it works pretty good. I already have the Ad-aware program and it rocks. I just installed spyware blaster and I have Pc-Cillin watching the firewall. So I think I'm good. Don't this spyware stuff make you mad as #@#$? Seems kinda shady to me.

I have begun using mozilla as my browser, rather than using IE. It has pop up blocking built it, many more options, (including tabbed browsing where each new page can show up in tabbed pages) and is FREE.
