Transmission Fluid Change

Does anyone have a picture of where the transmission fluid fill and drain plug is on a 1977 f100 4 speed manual t-18 transmission?

I don't have a picture but I think there is 2 plugs over on the passenger side of the tranny.
One is for draining (low).... the other for filling (high).

ALWAYS loosen the fill plug before you loosen the drain plug...Bad things will happen if your fill plug is stuck. Don't ask me how I know...

I gotta ask....how do you know?

If you mean you couldn't refill your transmission, that's no big deal. You can easily pull the shifter and fill through there.

On my old '75 "Uncle Jesse clone" F150 the upper fill plug 4 sided plug was rounded off and only had a nub. I had drained the fluid before I had dug the gunk out around the fill plug. This caused considerable creative utterances...In hindsight, I would have waited to do the fluid replacement for a nice dry day... on a nice piece of concrete.... on my as-of-yet-unpurchased new creeper!!

My '75 had the 4 speed with granny low. I really did not want to try to remove the boot as the screws looked like solid rust formations, kinda reminded me of when I was a kid, and we went to the Petrified Forest and I brought home a few rocks from back years ago before they started sending people to jail for that kinda thing!!
