I have the shudder when accelerating from turns. However, the differential on my 2016 Expy is different than all of the F150 videos I've seen. I have a drain plug at the bottom of the case, but no apparent fill plug. Do I have to drop the entire diff out to change the fluid, and if so is there a video or instructions on how to do that?

If there is a hidden fill plug that I am just missing, could someone tell me how to locate it?

Fill plug is on the pinion side of housing on drivers side.

 

 

Thanks. I'm an idiot. Here are pics for others. And yes, the fill plug looks rusty so will make sure I can break that before I drain any fluid.

 

I think these rear ends are pretty much unchanged from the 2003 models, my 2004 looks like this with the same set up.
