Just have to stay inside away from the lightening strikes and have a weather radio handy because tornadoes hide in the darkness.

They have all that and even a bunker, but her parents can't use the bunker so she will stay in the house with them

Texas has their share of tornadoes. If they have lived there any length of time they'll know the drill.
