Howdy Don!

This is my Chapter not his.

Had a bada$$ storm pass through here about 2:30AM today knocking our power out till this evening. The power co. reported that a tree in the woods blew over on another tree and that one fell on the power lines.

Had a lot of generators running in the neighborhood today, I don't have one so I got to babysit the sump pump.

Surprising enough the water came to the top but never ran over. That is the second time that has happened in 27 years.

You were lucky it didn't flood

You should get a sump pump that can also run off batteries

The guy up on the corner from me has one but every time he needs it he has to buy another battery like today. Poor maintenance program.

If my sump overflows it runs to the floor drain 4' away.
