I have a 2" BDS level sitting in the garage to go on my '17 F250. But, after a full hitch pouring over the forums many pictures it seems like the 2" +35's doesn't look much bigger than stock - maybe I'm just over thinking it. I'm also prettty nervous I'm going to stiffen up the ride too much. This '17 rides a ton better than my '13 with a ProComp spacer level, and I don't much want to go back to that
So I started looking at 4" BDS offering again, and I'm really digging the look. I was against any more than a 2.5" as I run a sled deck in the winter, but looking at it after, they're using a 5" block in the back, and i was likely going to up to a 4" in the back anyways. Coupled with my AirBags, I don't think I'll have a sag issue. And the coils should take care of my worries on the ride end of it.
But, my issue is now the tires. I have 35's on aftermarket 20x9 +18's currently, and I could go to 37's if I wanted (However I didn't think the 35's looked too bad myself) BUT I run my stock wheels in the winter time as we get laced with salt up here on the roads, and my aftermarkets would look as good as an anchor in a winter or two. My stock wheels are factory 18's with factory sized 275/70/18's. And I'm thinking it'll be pretty foolish looking in the winter.
Which takes me back to the 2.5" RA BDS lift. It seems like a great happy medium - not too big a lift so running stockers won't look hilarious, andat the same time generate a smooth ride. Kicker is it costs about as much as the 4", so I'm kind of like I should just go for the 4" for bang for the buck haha
Thoughts? Opinions? Lay it out there!
I have a feeling i should just throw the 2" in there, call it a day, and if it's that bad, haul it out, re-sell and chalk it up to giving it a try.
Hard to argue against the 4in RA lift. I absolutely love mine and everyone who’s rode in it says it’s extremely smooth and comfortable. I also have 37in MTs on it.

I did the Zone level and kept my factory shocks. Rides perfect. Lost some down travel but honestly Im not planning on getting airborne so didnt matter to me. And I could always add different shocks later if it bothered me. I have only noticed the loss of down travel once when I drove over a larger than normal speed bump pretty quick. No rub and not bad on throwing everything down the side. After 2'' Zone level. Before level. 20x9 w/ +18 offset.
Heres a few. It’s Fuel gloss Mavericks, 20x10s with 37x12.5x20 Toyo MTs. BDS 4in Radius arm lift with Fox shocks. No trimming no rubbing, perfectly level, and I can do donuts at full lock and can articulate the suspension off road and not rub.
The '19's come pretty high to begin particularly at the rear so for me, that became a matter of leveling the truck by means of a 2" front under-coil BDS/Zone lift pods, Adjustable track bar (to re-center front axle), and lowering the rear by swapping out the leaf spacer blocks from stock 3" to 2" and the addition of Sulastic spring shackles, along with new Bilstien 5100's all around and 35/12.50r20 Nitto Ridge Grapplers running at 50 PSIG on the stock alloys. My principle use being highway commuting and only periodically carrying or pulling light loads the Truck looks perfect to me and now drives and rides far better than stock, is very smooth with no steering vibration, bump steer, etc..
