Sure is nice out today. Too bad the rain starts tonight through wed night.
I don’t mind rain during the week Troy, just hate when it ruins my weekend.
Dodges have come a long way in the last decade, not nearly as plastic-y and cheap on the interior. Unfortunately I’m looking at the dark side too for a 3/4 ton. Just can’t justify the extra cost to keep that blue oval on my grille. Was looking at a new Lariat screw short box with 4.30 and 6.2L and there was definitely sticker shock. I know the window price isn’t what you pay but I don’t see getting close to my comfort zone unless I’m looking at Work truck models. Unfortunately got champagne taste on a beer budget.
I’ve always bought used, when we bought the 12 eco in 2015 that was the closest to new I’ve ever gotten. Just would like to know exactly how a vehicle is cared for. Had 5k left on the warranty and shortly after rolled 60 started having a lot of electrical gremlins and rust right away first winter. We wash about once a month in winter but that apparently isn’t enough or was already on its way. Could get extended warranty I suppose.
We’re looking at the 16-18 SD. It ends up being the wife’s dd and since she doesn’t like the 84 reg cab for kid hauling, she likes to have more of the options. She would probably get everything out of a highly optioned xlt but we’ll have to wait about a year as we’re underwater on the eco right now.
