I have a 52 M3 that I have added IFS (Mustang) front 5 on 4.75 and a 99 F150 rear 5 on 5.5. I made my bed and I'm using Fiberglass fenders from BeBop. I would like to be able to use the same bolt pattern on both front and back. The back wheel is very tight about 1" inside clearance and 1" outside clearance. I have 8 x16" rims and pretty tall sidewalls. I had to trim the fender opening to be able to change tires. Is there a way to have the axles and rotors re drilled for the 5 on 4.75. what have others done?
Thanks in Advance

You can have custom axles made with the 5 on 4.75 bolt pattern, but that could get spendy. With the large center hub on the truck axles, I'm not sure if they can be turned down and drilled to fit the chevy wheels. I believe there are rotors with the 5 on 5.5 Ford truck pattern that with the right bearing combination will fit the MII spindles. You might look into that as a less expensive alternative. It may not answer your question completely in the manner you asked, but it's an idea I thought I'd throw out.
I don't know what size rim you want to use (sounds like 16) . I bought some wheels from a tire and rim shop and they are pre drilled for 4.3/4 and 5.5 1/2. Now the mustang 2 front that I am using comes with the smaller pattern so I ordered the larger pattern for a couple extra bucks my rear end is the bigger pattern. Now after getting all of this I find out that I could use the wheels on the either front or back. I have thrown some money away because of ignorance on my part. I used to buy parts that I think I would need down the road just to fine out that I did not need them. Like some of the builders on this site tell you to make a plan and stick to it . It will save you money in the long run. Good luck on the build.

Reason: spelling
That would be great to find dual bolt pattern rim’s. I’ll see what I can find.
thanks again

The available dog dish type rims come in either the 5 x 5 1/2 or the dual which is 5 x 4 3/4 and 5 x 5 iirc. You can't get a dual pattern with 5 x 5 1/2 and 5 x 4 3/4 at least in the dog dish style rims. I have the same combination. I have AAA and do not carry a spare. I do have an old adapter for 5 x 5 1/2 to 5 x 4 3/4. which I probably should carry in the truck.
After a lot of internet searches I have come to that conclusions. Be careful on the Internet, got a virus that wiped out my drives today.
thanks for the help

1997 and later F150 wheels are metric. 1996 F150 was the last year to have 5 lug wheels on a 5.50" bolt circle.
What year Mustang has 5 on 4.75 wheels?
The IFS was bought from Speedway or Jegs I don't remember and the 99 F150 came out of a salvage yard from a 99 Ford F150 don't know what to tell you other than that. If you look up the rim they give you both metric and US measurements .

99 f150 would be 5X135mm pattern(or a hair bigger than 5x5 5/16") It would be hard to find adaptors, or even wheels to fit that pattern, as it was only used on 97-03 half ton fords. Might be cheaper/easier/faster to dump that rear axle and go with and explorer or s10 to solve the bolt pattern problem.
Not to disagree but if you lookup 1999 ford bolt pattern it shows both on every web site!

Ford truck parts catalog only lists the metric size for F150 after 1996, because...1996 was the last year that F150 had 5 lug wheels on a 5.50" bolt circle.
No Econoline (E100/350) of any year has metric wheels.
It is possible. I have a picture of the windshield with the insurance company info on the truck. I'll look and see if I can find it. My computer took a bit and I'm working off a laptop that doesn't have all my info on it.
Thanks
