T-87

Anyone know where I can get a high quality copy of an exploded view of a 48 T-87 heavy duty 3 spd? Took it all apart for rebuild and didn’t think to photo anything.

Here are several scans from the stock transmission section of a 1958 and 1978 Motor's truck repair manual. Both manuals only showed the remote shift top cover. The 1952 Motor's truck repair manual only had the Warner T9,T9A, T97 transmission listed.

I hope these are of help.

What is the ford part number for 7102 2nd gear. 51-52 heavy duty 3speed. Case number 0 7006. I need to locate a new one. I talked to van pelte sales and he doesn’t think he has any left. Trying to find one on eBay but there are so many 7102. I need the whole part number to get the right one. , Doug.

I’m looking at the blueprint and trying to figure out how the 3 rectangular cups 7404 fit into the gear 7105. It’s held loosely with a snap ring but I don’t see how the slider gear passes over it. Or maybe it doesn’t but I neglected to take pics when I pulled it apart. Any ideas?

7109 is a round wire "spring" that holds the 3 paws, pushes them outward. The 3 paws go on the outside of 7105. Then it slips into the 7106.

I re built my T87D just last fall with new blockers and bearings.
