Hello,
I am new to FTE. Looks like a great resource with lots of very knowledgeable folks.
I purchased this 1967 F100 Ranger 352 three speed manual last fall and am just starting to think about getting it certified for the road. The truck is a 91,000 mile survivor, and almost all original including the interior and the Holly Green paint in the two tone colour scheme. This truck was built in Oshawa, Ontario Canada and first sold in Ohio, and then sold by the original owner around 13 years ago to a Canadian. I am the third owner and live about 25 miles form the plant where it was built. 1967 was the100th year since our confederation, hence "Centennial F100". This is my first Older/Classic vehicle and I don't plan many changes to the truck, and want to keep it as original as possible. The main thing, to that end, will be going back to a single exhaust and muffler, which I am just starting to research. Other than that I just want to maintain it as is for as long as I can.

ND, Thank you. I got real lucky with this truck. Beginners luck maybe? Other than the seat belts (1968 I think) that you noticed with your sharp eye, the truck has aftermarket rear air shocks, and an under dash mounted 8-track. Now I am gathering as much info as I can on the single exhaust for this truck to have it replicated by a custom shop.

Beautiful truck and Welcome to FTE! It's actually snowing again up here in Sudbury today, so the days of cruising are still a ways away. If you're looking for an excuse to take your truck for a ride, check out the Ford & Mercury Truck Nationals In Arthur, Ont. It's usually the 2nd or 3rd week of August, with 150-200 trucks showing up. It's a great place to find parts and get information about your truck.

I have a hard time believing that truck spent much time up here, the salt on the roads just destroys our vehicles up here. Or, was the truck parked for the winters?

The truck came up to the Sault Ste. Marie area from Ohio in 2005, one owner until then. Was parked inside year round since 2005 and only driven 3000 miles until I bought it in 2018. I would venture a guess that it didn't see a lot of winter driving before 2005. It sure won't see any winter driving while I own it, given the way salt is spread on the roads in Toronto.

Wayne,
Just got done looking around on this site & found your new member thread with your 1967 F100 "original survivor". That is one of the nicest '67 I have ever seen. Luck was on your side the day you found it. Interior & paint look like new. Hard to see 91K any ware on the truck. Former owners took real good care of it. What a find.
