Soft Brake Pedal
I recently installed a new brake booster and master cylinder on my 1986 F250 4.9l. I bench bleed the master cylinder before I put it on and yesterday my uncle & cousin helped me bleed the brakes. The brakes feel fine when the truck is off, but when the engine is running the brake pedal is very soft and hisses.
Is this normal or does anyone know what would be causing it?
Is there supposed to be a gasket between the master cylinder and power booster, because neither the booster nor the cylinder came with a gasket?
