How do I patch a small hole in my bedliner?

I have a hole about the size of a quarter in my plastic bedliner. Is there an easy way to patch it?

Depending on the brand, it should be warrantied for 5 years, 10 years or life.

Never seen any drop in bed liners with a warranty outside of manufacturing defects.

May try to melt with some heat even just a cigarette lighter. Pull on it, get it together and tape it together. Might work - I have melted plastic before with good results.

Years ago, when I worked at the local Duraliner distributor, we would replace non commercial use damaged liners under warranty. Didn’t happen very often for damage. Most were for warping.

If its drop in get one of those plastic welders (their are fairly cheap) cut out piece of plastic from a bucket of some sort and go to town. Sometimes local Kayak shops might help you if you dont think you can do it.

Look on YouTube for how to repair holes in Kayaks. There are a few methods.

Can I ask how the liner got the hole in it?
In a past life I sold Duraliner/AllStar brand drop in’s. If a customer managed to hole his liner, we seldom questioned them. Replace it. I’m not aware of a method of repair that doesn’t look like somebody really should have left it alone.
Having sold and installed both spray in and drop in liners for a decade, I select a name brand drop in for every truck I have owned or will own. Everybody has their own theories and reasons why one is better than the other. My reason is based on what I’ve seen and how I use my truck.

For me, they actually have some good features. They definitely save the bed from impact damage/dents (I work construction so it is somewhat important to me), they smooth out the ribs on the floor and take one heck of a beating. However with my new '19 I did have the dealer install a LineX bed and will think of a floor liner to smooth out the ribs.

My wife is a gardening nut so I haul several loads of compost, mulch and dirt in it every year. That's why I bought a longbed. When I shovel it out the shovel kept catching on a spot about a foot from the back of the truck which eventually turned into this hole. The dealer threw the bedliner in for free as part of the deal when I bought the truck so it didn't really cost me anything. I'm not sure putting some kind of patch there would help because the shovel would probably hit it and tear it up. Is there actually some kind of warranty on the bedliner? I've had the truck about a year and a half but have only put 2500 miles on it. Thanks....

I’d certainly make a call to the dealership or google the liner brand for their warranty.
