Valve Body 2001
I'm driving a 2001 F150 Lariat ~ the 5.4 idles high and surges ~ I cleaned the IAC yesterday, same old, same old ``
I just removed and cleaned the throttle body ~ held it up with a flashlight behind it and saw light squirting past the plate ~ I think that may be the problem ~ called Ford they would like $450
Summit Racing is talking $250
What's your thought ~ would you trust an aftermarket Throttle Body ~ have you had the occasion to change one ~ would you think this would be the problem ~ is this a known, common problem ```

It's not a common issue, did you install new gaskets? I would source a used one before new. Click here
