Love the color. Not a fan of the wheels but that's what Craigslist is for.

This is what I want. Heavy tow capability and only about a 2inch lift but comfortable.

I have been leaning towards the ARB Old Man EMU suspension b/c of moderate lift and comfort. The ARB is still a 4inch lift which is too much for my preference.

truth be told, the cost savings is the least cool thing about it, the performance you get every time you drive your Ex is the best part.

Do you do any heavy towing ?

my next project is building a air bag setup specifically for this application (if all goes well WFO will be the vendor as I am not in the parts biz, I just want Bitchen stuff for my Ex and with my connections in the industry if I make 1 I can just as easily have them available to my fellow Ex enthusiast

Congrats on a great looking Ex, one of the few I wouldn’t even bother removing the clearing from, looks awesome.

nothing wrong with spacers as long as you maintain them ,keep them torqued to proper spec and install the tapered lug nuts correctly they will be problem free.

This is the front. Not sure which shackles were used to get the lift (front or back).

seriously, is the paint factory ? Did they paint the cladding to match factory paint or is The whole thing custom ?

I take that back....front springs are not stock, at least not stock excursion, see the clamp around 3 leaves, Excursions only had 2 leafs so it wouldn’t have that clamp. Front are mystery springs.

it is missing a bump stop.

The paint is still original except the cladding was painted to match. I’ll be replacing the chrome bumpers and grill down the road. For now I just want to get the suspension done right then turn my focus on to bulletproofing.

Im going to bring the truck to a local shop to see if they can help identify what I have going on.

Camo, a little clarification please.

The way I read this, you're talking about taking an idea you have for an airbag setup for the Excursion, and having a company named WFO put all the parts together for you, yes? And when you get the different parts for the suspension dialed in for your Ex, you'll let us know (like everyone else does that posts their mods) and if anyone wanted to duplicate your setup, you'll point them to WFO as the source, correct? Much like White Buffalo (and a whole bunch of others over the years) did when he pointed to Cary at CT Performance when asked about his suspension setup, or like others who say they've used SD Springs as their source for parts, you're just using WFO as your source, yes? You're not designing parts and then selling them through WFO, correct?

i sm not selling anything or making a dime off anything any vendor I name sells.

Over the years when I run into a part i want but nobody makes i find somebody who is in that biz snd get them to make it available so i dont have to deal with it.

if you look at the list of parts i spec they are widely available stuff but i have it narrowed down to 2 vendors and since i doubt amazon is gonna make a custom bag setup i am hoping WFO will, it just makes it easyier for people to acquire it that way.... dont fret, I aint pimpin yo

Honestly, I just had to make sure I read your post correctly. I just needed clarity, so others can't make a claim you're selling on the forum.

Thank you for that confirmation.

WOW! That is one great looking EX, that BLUE is sweet.
I'm not sure what you mean by you hope the offset will be the proper one for this model year? Are you looking to mount late model OEM Super Duty wheels on it? Is so, any SD wheel '05+ will need those spacers to have them sit under the Ex correctly.
