Replacement Clutch Question
My motor is currently out for rebuild and I am rounding up all of the stuff I feel should be replaced when the motor goes back in. Can anyone recommend a decent clutch and any other clutch related parts I should replace? I am running the 300 inline 6 with a 3 speed manual.

Centerforce….although the last one I bought was stamped LUK. I would have a look at the plastic bushings in the pedal and bell crank assemblies. Throw out bearing gets replaced of course. Check the front housing(bearing) on the trans for cracks, pretty common to find that.

About any clutch will work with a 6 cylinder. if you want an upgrade a centerforce I or II is good , or RAM is what I used and I'm happy with t. the stock clutch wouldn't hold my 428.
I like centerforce and I've had good luck with them, but they're probably the most hated clutch on the market. you decide.
