old beater needs help

i have a 67ish f-250 flatbed all original body but the engine is out of a 91 and the 4 spd manual is out of a 70's truck . the engine is a 300 straight six that someone put the intake and carb and head off of a 70's truck because the broke the air inlet pipes off and crimped them over. the radiator is even older with two pipes on top and two on the bottom and a big blob of jb weld in the middle. i got a cheap electric fuel pump and got it running after messing with the carb and linkage. i was told the only reason they got rid of the truck was that second gear went out so they took the tranny out and found out it wasn't cheap to fix so they tossed the tranny in the trash. it towed it home after it sitting up in Camden pass area for a few years. stopped at pull and save and bought a used tranny and a pilot bearing. and checked the clutch and it was brand new as well as the flywheel. used 4 long bolts and it slipped right in and fired right up then after a few minutes it started to overheat so i shut it off. it is a basic truck no radio just a delet plate no a/c unless i roll the window down,4 spd manual and a factory original flatbed. they were nice enough to put a new windshield in and have the diff rebuilt. but the driver side door needs a hinge, the window on the passenger side needs a regulator and the floors are getting bad and i can only steal so many road signs( oops), and the fender and one inner fender needs help , as well as the cab corners, but it was free, yeah!!!

I don't know which radiator you 6 cyl takes, but a new alum. radiator for my 390 from Spectra Premium (part# CU480) costs $278 thru AutoZone. I think that Champion sells them for around $250. If the bent over "air inlet pipes" are part of the old emissions set-up, you can remove them and install threaded plugs in the holes (use thread sealant). Road signs will work, but since most are made of Alum., they will corrode where ever they touch the steel. Tabco is just one place that makes the floor panels. Got any pics to show us ?

I did notice Rock Auto has some repair panels fairly cheap, though I imagine they are thin/cheap steel. Might be worth checking out though for budget repairs.

1967 F100/750 doors and most of the internal parts are different than 1968/72 F100/750 doors.

1967: You push the inside handles forward to lock the doors, 1968/72's have door lock *****.

found the title the other day. i think it had a 352 in it not sure. i have to get the numbers again and do more research. it still runs but it overheats. i have never seen a radiator with four pipes except for a flat head v8 since the motor is va 91 is the coolant flow the same as a 60's engine?

352 2V = 1967 F100/350 // 360 2V & 390 2V = 1968/72 F100/350 // 302 2V = 1969/72 F100.
