2004 E350 Rear diff rattle

2004 E350 Rear diff rattle
Hi folks. New member, first post here. Apologies if I mess this up somehow.
Today while I was parking my van one of the rear tires lost contact/friction with the road and spun out a bit. After parking the vehicle, with the engine running, I noticed a reasonable noisy rattle coming from rear differential. After switching to drive and re-parking the vehicle the rattle went away.
The engine has about 75k miles. Would folks recommend I (1) wait and do nothing (2) replace the transmission fluid (3) take it to a mechanic and get the rear diff inspected or (4) ?? something I haven't thought of.
I'd appreciate any tips or suggestions. I'm trying to learn and teach myself as much as I can and keep this van alive for as long as possible.
