Got a good one I need help with. Was recently in the engine bay checking the torque on my injectors after a recent swap. Everything went smooth and all was copacetic after buttoning everything back up. Fired her up to drive off and low and behold... no power steering. Nothing. Trying to turn is now a two handed arm wrestle, even when the truck is rolling. There were absolutely no issues with the PS before I was in there, didn’t even touch anything remotely PS related. Got under the hood today and everything is in place and as it should be. Nothing is disconnected. PS pump has fluid, pulled the low pressure return line and there was a healthy amount of volume pumping through it when I fired up the engine. I’m completely at a loss here, anyone have some ideas on where to start diagnostics?
Just crawled all over it again. No vacuum leaks anywhere and all other systems that rely on vacuum (brakes, hvac, etc) are still perfectly functional. Couldn’t even find any vacuum lines running to the PS system.
